My wild man is 15 months old and full of energy. He is so wild and crazy. Total dude, this one.
He and Reecie are almost best buds. He absolutely loves her and wants to touch her all the time. She sits there patiently and lets him. He giggles like a little school girl when she licks his fingers, doesn't really enjoy her kissing his face so much.
He loves, loves, loves {cannot say it enough} his cousin Josie B. He cannot get enough of her. She's the only little person that he is completely drawn to and hugs 1 million times an hour. It's the sweetest thing to see. He and Charlie are buds but a little to busy for each other right now. Josie comes over sometimes on Mondays for play dates and they have too much fun together.
He loves doing man things with Daddy. While Mommy hosted a baby shower, he went mower shoppin' with Daddy and Papaw. He just loves to be around his Daddy.
He laughs a lot, talks a lot, dances a lot, hugs a lot, walks a lot...
He is so excited that it's finally basically springtime. He has missed being outside everyday. He walks to and from the car whenever we are going places. He would rather walk on the sidewalk or driveway than the grass.
He loves his little Cozy Coupe car from Kate and Aven. It was a birthday present and we are finally able to play with it! He doesn't know how to go forward just yet but is a pro at rolling backwards. It's pretty funny and he looks like a little crab.
Bath time with the Mattmanns is fun! He loves the bath. Loves to have water thrown on him. Not a fan of bubbles though.
He will still randomly fall asleep in his car seat. He still enjoys car rides and loves looking out the window. He's so long that his feet touch the back of our seats.
Playing in his playpen has become very interesting lately. He tries to escape daily. I'm just waiting for the day that he actually does hop the fence. He will play in there for an hour sometimes.
His new favorite show, Super Why. It's a super educational show on PBS Kids, our favorite station. He loves it. He still loves Dinosaur Train, Ellen and anything with music. Dancing to Justin Timberlake performing on SNL was a total hit until Daddy deleted it. Oops.
Eating out has become very interesting. Especially when it involves the cousins...
Or a jukebox! He is so busy it's hard to keep him still and in one place for a long period of time.
His newest obsession... cars! He loves them. Travis' Mom says that Trav loved them and would push them for hours. Asher does the exact same thing. He will sit and push it back and forth, only using one finger. They keep him entertained like nothing else.
He has learned how to color. Well, kinda. We tried a few months ago and it was a total failure. He didn't even touch the crayon to the paper. The other day I gave him some crayons and paper and this is what I got. I had my own paper and would scribble to show him and he would mimic me.
We haven't had much snow this year. On our way to church one morning we had a little bit on the grass so we took a quick picture. Hopefully, next winter we will get some and be able to sled a little.
Asher, you are changing so quickly and so often. Everyday you are learning something different. I feel like the past few months have flown by and you have aged super quickly. You went from a baby to a little boy over night. Please slow down, just a little. I'm trying to cherish and remember every single moment. Life has never been so fun, busy, exhausting and fulfilling. Thank you for everything you've given to us.
