kate's birthday party

We went to Chattanooga a few weekends ago to celebrate with one of our favorite girls, Kate.  She turned three and is the cutest, sweetest little young lady.

trip to denver

Trav and I recently took a trip to Denver, our reason?  To see Peyton play.  I love Peyton.  And when I say love, I mean love.  I met him when he was fresh out of high school and wasn't the huge name he is now.  I was in the fifth grade and since that day he's been my favorite player, well he and Al Wilson.  One for offense and one for defense.

{dinner downtown Saturday night.  denver is the nicest, cleanest city I've ever been to. we loved it.}

{after dinner we walked around downtown.  everything was so pretty and clean.  the people were friendly and the weather was perfect.}

{our seats were ridiculously high up but we didn't care, we were there.} 

{if we weren't looking at the field then we were looking at the mountains.  gorgeous.}

{game time!!  peyton had an amazing game and broke two pretty big records during the game.  we also got to see juwan thompson (former duke player) score a touchdown.  we loved him at duke so it was awesome to get to see him play again!}

We had a wonderful trip and plan to go back sometime in the future, with our kiddos!  We were super impressed with the city and loved exploring a new place.  Thanks Denver for being so nice to us, we will be back.  Peyton, I hope to see you again soon.

weekend in north carolina

We had a wonderful trip to North Carolina recently.  We headed that way to visit family and to go to the DUKE vs Tulane game.

{after the walk, we headed over to eat a little breakfast/brunch before the game.  asher made a new friend, joshua.  they chased and played with each other for an hour straight.  they finally slowed down to watch SHREK for a few minutes.}
