Asher,
These past 4 months have been the best 4 months of our lives. We have had wonderful days, hard days, perfect days, long days, never wanna forget days. You have opened our eyes and hearts to so many things we never knew existed. You make us want to be better because you are ours. Thank you for being you. Thank you for loving us and for showing us what love is. We pray for you constantly and thank God for you. Never forget how much we love you. Always remember to thank God for everything and know he is with you always.
Love,
Mommy and Daddy

letters

Letters for my son's room.

Easter Basket with painted letters, super glued on.

Made to match bedding.

Helping my sister decorate her daughter's "big girl" room.  We painted the circles on the wall.  Painted the letters in the middle.

easter weekend 2012

Our little Easter bunny hopes everyone had a fantastic weekend!! We sure did. We spent Friday-Monday in East Tennessee.
Saturday we spent most of the day at my Mamaw Oran's house playing out in the sunshine.

We hid over 100 eggs.

After the kids hunted for eggs, we played a game of girls vs boys kickball. While Trav and I competed against each other, Asher cheered us on and snuggled with D. It was a close game but the boys walked away with a W.

Double Trouble.
Shivers and Asher
Sunday morning Asher woke up at GJ and Papaw's house and he couldn't believe the Easter bunny found him in East Tennessee! He was totally spoiled.
GJ and Papaw gave him lots of goodies in the basket on the left.
The Easter bunny gave him goodies in the bucket with his name on it.
Mamaw Oran gave him the huge bunny!

Ready to go to church.

My boys in pink.

Molly, Shivers and Chris

We somehow managed to get everyone to look at the camera for a picture! Incredible, especially with four kiddos!
Summer, Mike, Josie and Charlie

Katie, Shivers and Em

After church with Mamaw, we headed to Crossville. And guess what?! The Easter bunny found Asher there, too!! He got a new outfit and some cool new toys. He loves his new toys and has been playing with them constantly.

asher at 3 months

3 months have come and gone in the blink of an eye. Asher will be 4 months in just 10 days. 4 months means 4 month shots. No.Fun. Asher did pretty well with his 2 month shots but I'm still not looking forward to this next round. But 4 months means food. I cannot wait to introduce baby food to Asher.
While back in East TN a few weeks ago we had Asher's 3 month pictures taken. Ashley Wade took our pictures once again. She did an amazing job with our maternity and shower pictures. I knew these would be just as good or probably better. Why better? Because Asher is in these!
Ashley met us at my sister's house to snap some pictures.
Enjoy.
Love these eyes.
(They are actually green now. They look just like his Daddy's.)

Sometimes he smiles so big his tongue sneaks out.

Baby Mohawk.

Check out his rolls.
I promise he's not a chunky kiddo.
He's just sitting funny. =)

Sweetness.

It's hard to tell in this picture but Asher's right ear is a little dented. Just like mine!
I love that he has my crazy ear.

Long, long lashes.
They are beautiful.

The only feet I will kiss.

Over pictures.

Big bottom lip.

This boy has so many different expressions.
He can move those eyebrows like crazy.

Since we were at the Mattmann's for our photo shoot, Ashley snapped a few pictures of the Mattmann crew, too.
Charlie Charlie

One of my favorite pictures of Josie, ever.
She looks so sweet. Don't let her fool you. She's still a little diva!

This picture makes me laugh.

My favorite family.

Our crazy crew...
I love the people in this picture like crazy.
I cannot wait to live close to them.
I cannot wait for all of our babies to grow-up together and be cousins and best friends.
