easter 2016

{easter weekend, i snapped some really cute photos of asher and maeve.  they are not easy to take pictures of these days because they are so dang goofy!  getting a serious picture is hard to come by, but i was lucky easter weekend..}

{our families got together on easter sunday for dinner.  asher and maeve love having all of their favorite people in one place.}

{these two fight like cats and dogs but they love like no other!  their little friendship is really growing and it's incredible to watch.  please stay best friends forever.}

california girls {napa valley}

{saturday morning after a little adventuring in san francisco, we made our way to napa valley.  it is a gorgeous place.  green grass and blue skies everywhere.}

{after checking in to our hotel, we went to downtown napa to check it out and eat some dinner.}

{we made a pit stop to do a little taste testing at a local spot, bounty hunters.}

{no, we didn't each drink six glasses, we shared and tasted six different types of white wines.  sum and i each walked away with one bottle to bring home.}

{sunday morning, we woke up and headed out on a winery tour.  we were out from 10:30-6:00 and went to four different places.  our tour bus only had 12 people, including us, on it.  we tasted several wines at each stop and learned so much about the history of napa and the wine business.  it was pretty fascinating.  our tour guide, andy, was great!  in between stops he had us cheese and crackers to snack on and even fixed us lunch at one of the wineries.}

{next stop, dutch henry winery.  it had a cave where they stored their barrels and made their wine.}

{our third stop was tedeschi family winery .  it was ran by two brothers in their twenties and their father.  it probably had the prettiest view.}

{and our last stop, david fulton winery, had the funniest host.  he was a little comedian as he was telling us the history of the winery.}

{monday morning, we woke up and headed back to san francisco to fly back home...}
