st. patrick's day at the zoo

We spent our St. Patrick's Day with friends and zoo animals. It was a beautiful perfect day for strolling around the zoo and laughing with friends. I cannot tell you how much I'm going to miss our Memphis family when we move. I'm going to be an ugly mess. Let's not talk about it. Back to the zoo...
Where to go first? Let me jump into the map and see.
(Any FRIENDS fans out there??)
In the beginning, Asher man wasn't too excited about all of the animals.

Aven, Asher and Kate. The monkeys must not have been too entertaining to them. They didn't wake up to see them.

Now we have eyes!

Asher and Daddy
Asher's Daddy loves him an unbelievable amount.

Julie & Kate, Lauren & Aven, Asher & Me

Daddies and their babies

Hello giraffes.

Charles and his mini-me, Kate.
She looks so much like her Daddy. It's adorable!

My favorite little boy.

Hippos didn't impress our little man.

Trav was suppose to be taking a picture of all of the girls and their babies. This is the picture he took instead.

Taking a break for some Dippin' Dots. Yum.

We love our life with this boy.

Taking a break to feed the babies.

Panda.
The Puryears

Elephant exhibit.

Travis cannot wait to take his little man hunting.

The Trammells

We loved showing Asher all of the different animals. He slept for about the first 20-30 minutes after that he was wide awake and taking it all in.

Lauren and Miss Aven.
Aven turns 1 next month. Time flies by way too fast.

Love, love, love these people.

changing every single day

My little man is changing every day!! Every day is a new adventure and every day he makes my heart smile.
We recently made another trip to East Tennessee. This trip home was even better than the first.
Asher man excited to get to East Tennessee!
Aunt Sum and Asher

Sum and I with our men!

Love these boys.

Playing with sidewalk chalk.

Sweet Charlie
These boys are the best.

In love with this little man.

My bestest friend, she just so happens to be my sister, too.

Spending some time with Fancy Nancy.

Loved seeing his Auntie Jewya.

Chillin on Nana and Poppy's couch.

It just so happened that while we were in East TN so was my best friend, Lauren. She lives in DC and had never met Asher. It was perfect that we were both in town at the same time. I'm so glad she got to meet him while he is still little. Well, kinda little. I hate living so far away from her. But one day, hopefully sooner rather than later, we will live closer to each other and our babies can grow up together.
Asher and I with Lauren and her Mom, Paula.

Asher hears stories about his Aunt Lauren all the time..
Nick, Lauren's husband, and Asher.

Asher loves laying on his belly. Not as much as is back but he is getting so good at holding up his head.
Asher rolled over yesterday, March 20, for the first time. He went from his belly to his back!
Playing on GJ and Papaw's bed.
While we were in East TN, Asher turned 3 months! Can you believe it?

We still go on walks with our favorite girls. Every day that it is pretty, you can find us walking.
The babies nap while the Mommas chat.
Asher talks all the time. He talks a lot while playing on his mat.

The kid loves staring at ceiling fans. On or off.

Working the neck.

On a side note: Trav and I had a date night, kinda, a few weeks back. Here we are ready for his scholarship banquet. We are so proud of him.
