A Weekend with Friends

We have had a great/busy past few weeks!  Now that the boys are out for the summer, we are getting together a lot more often as a group.  Normally it is just the wives getting together but now the husbands can finally relax and join in on the fun.  The wives have been getting together to talk "Love Dare" and the boys are grilling out and hitting up the movies.  We've been doing things practically every night which is great.  These couples are partly responsible for why I am so happy with our life in Memphis.  The weekend started off with the girls going to the Nail Bar on Mud Island and getting pampered on Friday night.  The boys later joined us for some BBQ.  Sunday we cooked out at the Puryears and Monday we went to the Memphis Zoo.  Here are some zoo pictures!

2 Months Already?

Josie is 2 months!  She turned 2 months on Friday, May 22.  She is growing by the minute.  I saw her last weekend at Lauren's wedding and she is so much different.  She smiles and laughs and looks at you.  I know, I know she is a baby and is going to look at you but when she looks at you in the eyes it melts your heart.  I can't wait to see her this weekend.  Happy 2 Months Josie girl!!  LOVE YOU & MISS YOU!!!!!

-watched the Bachelorette again with the girls

-talked to my Momma

My Best Friend's Wedding...

Last Saturday, May 16, one of my oldest friends tied-the-knot!!  I like to think that I had am partly to thank for their love affair.  They started "talking" the weekend that we got married oh so long ago.  ha  Nick was good friends with Sum and Mike and Lauren and I have known each other since the 2nd grade!  Nick was our DJ at the reception and Lauren my MOH.  Anyways, they started dating shortly after and the rest is history.  They had a beautiful wedding and it was a blast.  I can't wait to see the pictures, her photographer, Tara "Dixie Pixel Photography" is amazing.  I will post a link as soon as they are up.  They were married at the Farragut Christian Church and their reception was at Calhoun's on the River by UT.  Congrats Lauren and Nick, we love you both!!  Hope you are having a great honeymoon!!  See you soon!

Tuesday Night rolled over to Wednesday Fun

Last Tuesday, was Travis' last day as a D1!!  He is now a D2, way to go honey.  Tuesday night, the D1/D2s had an end of the year party downtown on Beale Street at Alfred's.  We had a blast and the future dentist had a great time unwinding from a crazy 2 semesters.

We officially moved into our new house on Wednesday, yep the day after Trav's last test.  We have great friends who offered to help Travis move ALL of our furniture from the apartment.  They worked all day and were wonderful help!  I came home from school Wednesday afternoon and this is what I saw....

Later that afternoon, I headed over to the Puryear's house for our weekly "Love Dare" girl nights.  We ordered pizza, watched American Idol, and talked book!  Around 10 o'clock Julie, Lauren, and I walked over to our house where the boys had been grilling out.  This time when I came home, this is what I saw...they moved the party outside.  They had our old couches sitting at the edge of the garage and were playing loud music on the guitars.  I am sure our neighbors are excited that we moved next door!  =)  Thanks Charles, Chip, Keith, Brent, Ryan, & Nate for helping us with our move.
