Jochums and Mattmanns in Memphis

Recently the Siscos had some visitors!  My sister, brother-in-law, my BFF Lauren, and her new hubby Nick came to Memphis!!  I took off on Friday so I could hang out with them all day!  Friday morning, future Dr. Sisco headed to school.  Summer came and jumped in the bed with me at 7:00 and we talked for hours.  That was probably my favorite part.  We met Travis for lunch at Bogies and then showed them around Memphis for a while.  For some reason, I didn't take any pictures, what?!  Friday night we got all dressed up and made our way to Tunica...

We had just purchased these jackets for the boys on our little shopping spree earlier on Friday. Aren't they the cutest?

My future Dr. Sisco.

Lauren and Nick eating at Central BBQ.

Mattmanns love Memphis!

So glad to have them here with us.

After some delicious BBQ, we went to Tunica.  The ride there was short and interesting.  We sang, not very good, the whole way there!

Saturday morning, the boys woke up and went golfing.  While they were golfing, we went to my schools fall festival.  We worked the concession stand for about an hour.  I was so glad that Sum and Lauren agreed to go hang out at school with me on a Saturday!  I think they enjoyed meeting my co-workers and getting to meet some of my little ones.  After the festival, we did some hard core running around.  Nick had just recently celebrated his birthday.  We decided to celebrate it one more time.  I have told Lauren about the incredible cupcakes from Muddys.

Getting ready to surprise Nick.

The Jochums.

Celebrating.

Saturday night was a night out on the town in Memphis.  Before heading downtown the girls decided to have a mini-photo shoot.

I would like to think that the only reason Lauren came to Memphis was to see me, BUT I know that it was partly because I live less then a mile away from one of Justin Timberlake's houses.  On our way out...

"Justin, are you in there??"

Dinner at the Flying Fish.  The Puryears came out with us.  We are glad that they were able to meet our family and friends.  We talk about each of them to each other so it was great for them to finally get to meet.

Glad you came to see me, Lauren Burr!

At the Flying Saucer (yes, another restaurant with the word flying)

We like to get close.

Beale Street bound.

Such a good picture!

We are so glad that they made the trip to Memphis!  Come again, soon.  Love you guys!

Round Two..

This was only the Siscos second time carving pumpkins.  Crazy, I know!  Saturday was a day of football, desserts, cooking out, and carving.  We got together with the Puryears to cheer on the Vols.  I guess they couldn't hear us cheering?!  DUKE beat Maryland and are now 4-3.  GO DUKE!!  After the game, came some serious pumpkin carving....

The boys hard at work...

Julie got down and dirty with her pumpkin.

Travis made me dig some of the gooey stuff out..yuck!

Reecie was a big help.

My "Queen of Everything".

After gutting the pumpkins, we decided to move our party inside.  It was a little chilly outside.  Julie decided to carve a ghost and I carved a power "S".

Sisco, baby!

 The Puryears scary ghost.

Our attempt at a group photo.

Reecie loves her little baby pumpkin!

Happy Fall Y'all!!

Cutie Pie...

Happy 7 Months, Josie B!!  I can't wait to see you on Halloween!  It's been to long.  I am going to hug you and kiss you and love on you the entire weekend.  I am not going to let anyone else hold you!  We've been so busy in Memphis that I haven't been to East Tennessee since late July! Don't worry, I will take tons of pictures next weekend.
I Love You Tons!!

Cute hat, I picked that out for her!  Wait until you see her, "boots with the fur".  =)

Cheese Cake Corner

Have I told you that I love my family of friends here in Memphis?  Have I told you that I love living right down the road from them?  Literally, right down the road...It's great being so close to everyone.  Well, tonight the Puryears dropped by to return our Bourne Identity movies.  They were on their way to the NEW Chick-Fil-A!!  They asked us to join and of course we said, "yeah".  The Trammells had just called so they joined us, too.  After dinner, we decided to head downtown to the Cheese Cake Corner.  Completely, totally, mouth watering, yummy stuff!!

We had all taken a bite before I could take a picture.

Future McShans

Yay, I am so excited for our friends, Kyle and Courtney.  They called us last night and told us that they were going to bring dinner over.  They had been out of town this weekend for a wedding and were rolling back into town.  They had only been here for a few minutes and Courtney was holding Reecie.  Kyle said, "look at Reecie's hand".  We did but didn't see anything.  After a few more hints he said, "look at Courtney's hand!"  I screamed and jumped up and down and I think Travis' eyes about popped out of his head!!  We love them and are so excited for them!  Thanks for coming over to tell us the great news.

Aren't they the cutest?!  (This was our trip to Six Flags this summer)
