early birthday

Saturday, February 19 we celebrated Josie B's 2nd birthday. She won't really be two until March 22 but her "baby bruder" as she likes to call him is due on March 25. So, Summer and Mike decided to celebrate a little early.

Her party was at our friend, Annie's, gym downtown Kingston. Click here to see her site.

Josie had lots of friends and family there to help her celebrate. I am sorry I didn't get many pictures of everyone, I'm a slacker.

The birthday girl is ready to celebrate!!

It took her a few minutes before she was comfortable crawling through, but once she did it she loved it.

Two Cuties. Reed and Trentyn.

Opening up her many many gifts.

Papaw Jimbo enjoying some pizza.

Elmo and Abby cupcakes made by Carly.

Success!

What? Do I have something on my face?

Me, Sum and Charlie!

Josie, I cannot believe you are almost 2!! I remember holding you for the first time when you were just a few days old. You were so little bitty. I don't remember life before you. I think we were pretty boring. =)
Happy early Birthday sweet girl!
Love you,
Aunt KeKe

verse

Have you ever had something weighing heavy on your heart and every time you turn around, something reminds you of it?

That is exactly what's been going on with Me lately.

My Bible Study group is reading The One Year Chronological Bible and every time I pick it up, it literally feels like God is saying, "Kayla, are you listening? Are you paying attention? This is what I've been trying to tell you all along..."

Our verse this week is something that I struggle with. I want to be in control! When Ms. Jaimee read the verse tonight, it was like she was speaking directly to me. She quoted Proverbs 19:21 "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails."

Thank you God for writing the story of my life!

abby cadabby gets put in timeout

I'm not afraid to say that my sweet little precious Josie B is no stranger to timeout. She's been there a time or two. =) Hey, what 23 month old hasn't been?

Not sure what Abby Cadabby did but I bet she won't do it again.

I love hearing her say, "Sit timeout Abby, Sit."

I get to see this sweet face in a few days and I cannot flippin' wait!!!
