Happy Birthday Mrs. Jones

Saturday, September 12 was Kendall's 24th birthday.  The Wives had been planning to surprise her with a day at the Nail Bar.  We were hoping to do it on Wednesday, which is our normal night that we all get together for desserts.  It didn't work out Wednesday so we moved it to Saturday (her actual birthday).  Wednesday night, Kendall mentioned wanting to get a manicure and asked if we wanted to join her.  We didn't know what to say since we were planning to surprise her with that exact thing on Saturday.  We just gently changed the subject.  Thanks to Keith, we got her there on Saturday afternoon.  She thought that it was only going to be us two for the day.  Lauren and Julie had both said that they couldn't make it.  Julie, Lauren, and Myself got together a few hours before and picked up some WONDERFUL cupcakes from Muddy's, flowers, a card, birthday hats, a birthday crown, and other supplies!  We were there waiting for Kendall when she came to the Nail Bar.  Thanks to the ladies at the Nail Bar for calling Kendall and asking her to change her appointment!  They helped us get her there at the time we needed.

After being pampered at the Nail Bar, we headed back to our house where the boys were watching football.  They had a "Happy Birthday" banner and birthday hats!!  Kendall had her own special birthday crown!

Of course, when we all get together, we always play Cornhole.  The boys tend to take it a little bit more seriously then the girls.  They are almost to pro status.

Later, we headed to Happy Mexican for Kendall's birthday dinner.  The boys were having too much fun.

Before Kendall got there, we told our waitress that it was her birthday.  We didn't really know what all they did for birthdays besides making the lucky person wear a ridiculously huge sombrero. 

Now we know!!  This lovely lady to the right put whip cream in her face!  We were all in shock and couldn't believe that she actually smashed it on her face.  Kendall was a great sport and laughed it off.  Tip:  Don't go to Happy Mexican for your birthday unless you are prepared!!

After dinner, we headed back to our house once again.  We have the most fun just sitting around talking and laughing!

Happy Birthday Kendall!!!  We hope you had a great birthday!  We are so glad that we have all become great friends and have formed our own little Memphis family.
